Crossfeed lines only in cyan MX-4071

I am getting odd xfeed lines only in cyan. I thought drum so replaced it and main charger kit. There was no change. I searched the forum but didn't find any post exactly like it. I am thinking maybe the developer. Perhaps someone here has seen it.

Yes I would replace cyan developer and cyan 407mk. That should take care of your problem.

Easiest thing to do first is to swap one of the process units with another, and see if the problem moves. If it doesn't, then it's either DV/DV unit, or Primary Transfer. There could be something on the bar that drops in the transfer unit, but I wouldn't think it would cause that issue. Also check out the discharge bar in the process unit, and the lamp behind the unit in the back of the machine.

Looks to me like LSU a problem.

          Good Lucck.

Let's hope not. I have the dev unit and starter ordered. We are not a Sharp dealer anymore and they have cut us off of their tech support.

A scan of a 22-6 would have given you better answers. You can see DV bias readings that way.

It does look like a developer problem though, or a charge problem with the magnet roller.

I do have questions I would ask myself on-site if I saw this in person.
LSU window is clean for sure?
              No Error codes?
What happens if you do 25-2 on Cyan?
What kind of toner are you using?
Is toner falling from the toner pipe?
              Is it clogged?
              How is the magnet roller?
              The DV unit drive gear?
              No obstruction?
What about the cyan TRANSFER roller on the TC1?

Sorry it took so long for a solution. I finally fixed it today. It was in the main drum dev drive assembly. The cyan drive gear is bent and cracked. Not idea how it got that way except for a factory defect that finally failed.

Well that's...interesting... We used to have to replace the drive packs on the 50 and 70 series' because the vendor we got them from didn't plug the DV units, so DV got in to the gears and the pressure shredded the drive motors in the drive pack and transport drive. Didn't expect that to be the resolution!
