    [Dead] Mx-fn25 not works (not show up on screen)

    Hi guys

    Anyone know how the finisher MX-FN25 for MXM-904 how it should works? I mean is it possibel any softswitch in the simulation code accedently turned OFF that cause the finisher Diseabled.

    Before this in the service center the machine doing well, last week we transport it to customer premise and after setup the machine with the finisher, the finisher doesn't show up on screen (the accessories power cord already connected ,as we know this model uses 2 set of power cord to the main body). Even on starting up the finisher doesn't respond at all. I have checked power present on Finisher PCU Board and power supply Pcb.

    Any idea on this matter are really appreceated in advance.

      There shouldnt be a softswitch, if you really think it could be a Softswitch you can check the 22-6 printout, changed SWs are marked black.

      Make sure the machine is completly powered off and not just turned off before installing the finisher.

      I would recommend redoing the steps from the Installation Manual for MX-FN24/25

          Check all outputs from options power supply, even if a fuse has been replaced - replace power supply.



          Also make sure firmware is up to date.

                  Best practice is to always turn off and unplug the copier before installing any options. Plug in the finisher, then plug in and turn on the copier
