Re: Sharp MX5070 - E7-93
A good thing as well, is you can buy the same speed of drive, and as long as it's equal to or greater than the size, you're fine. You might have to do a CN update, which only takes an extra few minutes compared to a regular FW update, and you probably end up saving a nice chunk of change.
You can also swap a 70 or 71 series HDD for a 50 or 51 series because it's equal or greater than.
If you ever need to clone a drive though, you can use an HDD clone tool and you're golden.

Re: Sharp MX5070 - E7-93
Hi guys,
Have a machine that's is throwing E7-93 now and again, I have adjusted the current print drivers and firmware On the machine rebooted and the error code is cleared,
The machine can print and copy fine but when I try to go to the settings tab it just says 'please wait' and doesn't go from the screen, cannot excute half tone pages in service mode?
Any suggestions?Leave a comment:

Re: Sharp MX5070 - E7-93
Looked at my history with this code, oh my god so many hits on 4140/4141 5140/5141 2640/3140 E7-93's. It's insane. Most resolved with HDD replacements and SD card replacements.
From PHOENIX models, I only see two.
- MX6070V : E7-03 E7-93 U2-41 with PRI_Jam
- New HDD and CN emergency firmware update, fuser cleaning mode SIM 55-1/Bit32/Data7 0-1=1k activated.
- MXM5070: Error e7-93 with PRI_JAM
- New HDD and CN emergency firmware update. Low power mode.
Looks like it's always been HDD.Leave a comment:

Looks like a HDD is needing to be replaced. I've had a couple do that to me, always cleared out but then came back. Back up with 56-2 then install new HDD and import data back into new HDD. Good Luck.Leave a comment:
