As far as I can recall, there is no separate fuser reset on the FO-2950s, just power Off/On.
It's time to take the fuser apart and meter out the various lamp, thermistor, thermal switch, etc. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Blackcat is correct. There is no way besides cycling the power to try and reset machine. Most likely the upper fuser roller is cut and not turning or the tab on the gear is sheared. Seen this a million times. If you look really carefully down inside the machine on the right side sometimes you can see the destruction. Otherwise you can get it apart to further diagnose, but 99.99% you need a fuser unit. I have never replaced rollers or gears in the fuser because the unit only costs around a hundred bucks. However you will definately want to replace the interim drive gear on the frame NGERH0171GCZ1.
I think the fuser part number is DUNTW221CSC01. Personally, I would not waste time taking it apart unless you have the parts in hand. Good luck.Comment

This is one of those all plastic users that will start to crumble the moment you start taking it apart. Every little snap release and clip will break off, no matter how careful you are.
The heat rollers are so thin that the entire end of the roller can twist right off. If I remember correctly you have to strip the machine to get the fuser changed.
Usually once you say $350 they will go looking for another cheapie fax.

Again Blackcat you are correct. It is more trouble taking apart the fuser than replacing it. The only exception is the 0080 or 0083 gear that drives the fuser. That is not so bad. The only problem is you have to think what caused it to crap out in the first place! Even to replace the fuser you have to rip the whole macine apart. If you get good at it, you should only take about a half an hour. Most customers that have a 2950 or 3150 beat them into the ground and should really get a better fax.Comment
