More than likely, the SD card is bad, and you'll need a replacement.

That being said, it's on the left side of the machine, about middle-thigh high, top corner of the board.

To do that, first turn the machine off all the way and unplug it, including the network cable if applicable. You'll need to remove one screw that is behind the main front cover - screw is located about halfway down on the left edge of that opening. Once you remove it, you'll then need to slide that left cover towards the rear of the machine, some snaps will pop. The metal cover under that will also slide to the rear once the two screws - locations engraved in the plate - are removed as well.

thanks so much for you reply and for writing it in a way I could understand. It was extremely helpful and I now have the machine fully powered up, starting up with no issues at all.

If it was me. I would pull out that sd card from the machine and copy it with something like HDD raw copy and save that file. Those sd cards are notorious for failing. Way cheaper to buy a blank sd from amazon than have to buy one from sharp.

We're doing the same thing with hard drives right now. We have a bunch of old HDD's from PC's that we've fully wiped that are likely never seeing the inside of a PC case. So we're just using an HDD copy tool for it - only downside is it takes 2 hrs, but 2 hrs or $189 for one drive plus a potential overnight cost, we're definitely saving ourselves a lot. Especially when the machines are going to end up being returned to lease in a year or so.
