Scan timing out on BP-70C31 but not on MX-3071?

    Scan timing out on BP-70C31 but not on MX-3071?

    Hi, I have a customer who has a BP-70C31 and a MX-3071.

    They are scanning to email but it will randomly time out, happens more often on larger scans. It does not happen on the MX-3071 which has the exact same scan to email settings. Both are hardwired to the network.

    We pinged the BP-70C31 and everything looks good. We also did the firmware update but that did not fix it. Scan error are NG440000 and NG800000.

    Any ideas on what to try next? We are thinking of setting up a scan to folder but they would rather scan to email.

    Is this their internal SMTP settings? Or Gmail or something?

    Ping the SMTP server and get an IPv4 address, and put it in the secondary server setting.

    Shouldn't make a difference with this error, but check the SSL setting in Security, make sure they're set the same (if applicable)
