Ng4400

I get the error code Ng4400 on a mx-4501N when trying to scan to mail ..
the error is not constant and can appear after a few hours.
I cant seem to find anywhere what Ng440000 means besides that it is a network error.




I have tried looking in the handy guides and service manuals...

so anyone know where i can find a list over NGxxxxxx errors ?

I got a NG440000 error on a MXM550N when scanning to email and the doc feeder jammed. The screen showed 'communication error occurred - 2 pages were transmitted' (I had 3 pages to send). The job status showed 2 of 2 pages sent with the NG440000 error. I received 2 pages in Outlook with no error indication.???

Do a packet capture with www.wireshark.org. You'll be able to see what's going on behind the scenes.
My guess is gateway. It may be bouncing around inside the LAN looking for a way out before it times out. Here in the states, we can email the packet capture to Sharp's Network Focus Center for help.
