    ARM -450n scanning

Having a problem with scanning. The copier has been working great till two days ago when it stopped sending scanned documents. When you send a page it says sending and after about 20 seconds display says network error CE-02. Copier print fax and copy funtions all work. Tried sending to different stations in directory and even to our office, same problem. Any thoughts. Thanks

Is it scan to email that does not work or scanning to Sharp desk?

I would double check the DNS servers, gateway (over looked this more than once). If those are all fine take a cross over cable to your laptop, print to it then setup Sharpdesk and try scanning to the laptop. If it works fine it has to be a problem between the copier and the network.

I had a customer complain about a MX2300 getting slower and slower when they sent big pring jobs to it from publisher or from his accounting program. It would take forever to rip. We formated the Hard drive, re-seated the memory nothing worked. We got rooting around and found the customers network switch. The top cover looked like it had been on fire . Plugged the copier into a different switch and every thing was fast!
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

Did you change passwords for your windows account? If so, the scans won't through unless the updated password is input.

if you use the sharpdesk, can try unistall, and instal again, or before try to disable the firewall of antivirus.

        good oook

NOTE: If the workstation or server you installed the Network Scanner Tool on changes IP addresses, the scanning will cease to function. That computer MUST not jump IP addresses. Set it to static, reserve the IP address from the DHCP pool.
This has been my experience (all too often).
