Does anyone know a way to "bump up" the toner warning on these machines? I have been told that there is no way but maybe someone knows a trick you never know... Worth a shot. A few customers are livid that they are in the middle of a job and have to wait for me to get there with a toner because it gave them no warning. Thanks.

It wasn't until the MX series machines that you get sim's to tweak the detection levels. Sorry, I don't think there's adjustment.
How about stocking a spare cartridge? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

We do the same but even so we wind up making emergency toner calls. My boss goes ballistic but still sends me out to coddle our clients! I've done 140 mile RT just for a toner call because they can't manage their supplies properly, but what can you do?Comment

Smack 'em up-side the head!! Thats what you can do.
Bloody hell mate.... 140 mile return for a toner!! Completely unheard of around here. If they were so far away, it should have been sent by courier, just to make them wait. That would teach them a lesson and you woud never have that client bitchin' about supplies again.
I truely hoped you charged them for the trip. WOWComment
