Mx-4101 wont boot or wake up

On a newer machine less than 3mos. old, machine will not wake when a print job has been sent, or when the wake up button is pressed on the console. They either get a blank screen(when waking from sleep), it stalls at the multi language please wait screen, or it never makes it past the animated startup screen (the animation keeps moving). It does not respond to the emupdate method. But I can use the dip switch on the mfp board to enter the CN update method, when doing the CN method I get a Baord Synch Error PCU, for a few moments, then passes and lets me use the rest of the routine. I can cycle through the rom versions for all other boards but the PCU is blank. I have tried to update all firmware in the CN method but the pcu never gets written (probably because of the Synch error), I also have tried to remove the PCU flash rom and write it directly using the slots on the MFP (both by Update CN and Create Rom) when the pcu rom is out of its slot the CN method does not start either. Putting the machine back in regular operation, and removing the pcu rom, will allow the machine to get past the startup animation but E7-90's at the user login screen, but the console does not respond to any thing. Lucky enough our Sharp rep will be here in the morning. Just running it past the crew here, to see what ya all think (by the way I dont have a spare flash rom ,PCU, or another machine to take one from) (P.S. im thinking bad pcu board) TIA

Sounds like you're pretty much on it. The only thing I might try, would be to uplug all options down to the base machine. Then try to flash it.
    Hope that helps !

Ordering a PCU and a mother pwb, tried writing a flash rom from a 3501 (same rom) with no good results!

PCU did the trick, plus our sharp rep left me a poorly seated 512mb module on the mfp pwb that caused my 22-6 and 23-2 to print as solid black pages, and coping would just sit there till the machine threw a ppd2_Pri jam.
