    E1-00 code on Sharp AR-168

Anyone have a fix for this code? Turning off/on does not reset.

Being at home and not looking it up, my first thought is replacing mirror base "A" otherwise called the scanner assy.

But you could try reseating all the connections for the scanner especially the flat cable.

Tried Sim 14 to reset, no joy. Also, tried to install firmware w/o success. Ended up replacing MCU PWB from another machine. Anyone, know the procedure to reprogram counts (total,pm,dv,drum)?

Yes, it is a AR168D. Sorry for the confusion. I do not need to reset the counts to zero. I need the procedure to program the counts from the old board to the new one.

Thanks to all who replied. Reached out to another dealer in my area and got the info to reprogram the counts.
