    Toner Problem with Sharp AR-C 170 and 172M

    Please, can some one out there tell me what to do with my machines.
    My customers machines are always asking a Change of Cartridge when the Toner has been used up.
    I have tried to refill Toner after this message but it is still repeating thesame message. What am my really going to do with this machines?
    Tags: 123, 161, 231, 315, 3150, broken, cartridge, copier, good, light, motor, replaced, roller, spinning, toner, toner motor, unit

      after replenishment cartridge must be replaced by the chip.

          What is meant by "replaced by the chip"? I have a similar problem with AR-161 copier--replinished cartridge but "cartridge" light still on.

                  In the copier AR-161 is not the chip!
                  It is possible that not spinning DV unit or a broken axle in the toner motor. She was there made of plastic and often break down.

                      Many thanks for your helpful suggestion. Actually I got it working fine after rotating the mg roller a few turns--that plastic gear is still intact and in good shape.
