I've got a problem on a sharp mxm450 which i think is the scanner interface pwb at fault but some advice from out there wouldn't come in wrong.
copy quality is poor though fax image is good. the copy, whether through df or from the glass is made up of very fine black lines alternating with white lines. both are the same width, maybe .25 mm in the scan direction, edges of lines are slighly fuzzy when viewed through a glass

the ccd has been changed and made no difference.i've stripped out all the boards and reconnected etc. only thing left is the interface pwb and the cables.

Any input is most welcome.

I assume all self prints are good ? I've had the pins inside the connector from the scanner to the print engine get bent & give some pretty strange stuff.
