The ROM update worked perfect. Put it back in and the unit registered without any problems, it was a V1.00 ROM. I will have to remember that for the future. I don't normally do that type of upgrade for the newer units since I can do them all together.

Thanks again for all of the great suggestions.

Interesting that info is not listed on the USA site.

The procedure you referenced is in the manual and on the website but the information about ARFX8 roms is not. We have 2 websites that Sharp maintains, SharpNET and Sharp IDNC. There are no longer any updates to SharpNET info (which I found really easy to use) and all new stuff goes to the IDNC website. There are a lot of times that I will find info on SharpNET and not find it on the IDNC website. Also the new website does not offer all of the older information. It can be very difficult finding information some times. There have been several times that you have posted tech bulletin information that I had no clue about and could not find on Sharp IDNC. I'm not sure why since you would think it would be worldwide support but maybe some issues are more regional in nature???? Or maybe I'm not using the website to it's fullest extent or properly referencing the information when I do my searches.
