    receving fax problem MXM200D

Hello guys, one off my customers have a MXM200D photocopier with the fax kit installed, it worked perfectly before.now the customers says she can send faxes, but she cant recieve faxes, so i took a look at it and when someone try to send a fax, the fax line just keeps ringing and nothing happens, i dont have a clue where i should begin, you also need to know that the customer are one of those who try to fix it on there own. so i dont know what settings i should be looking at to fix this problem, help would be most appreciated

Most likely they have set it up for manual receive. To start from beginning, get a 22-6 printout, then do a 66-2 (softswitch clear) that will get it back to defaults.
Then re-input TTI and other settings.

      I agree with Zootech.

If that thing is not in manual recieve mode..... I'll eat my hat!

Go inot fax settings and change to it auto receive. That way, it will pickup the call, otherwise manual receive will keep ringing out.... just like it is doing. Same on any fax machine.

Either that or someone screwed with the distinctive ring settings.
        Hope that helps !
