50-28 OC adj error

I'm in the process of setting up a new machine and working through the 50-28 portion but when I run the OC adj it will only give all errors. The Setup/Print adj and SPF adj went through fine. I've reprinted it several times rescanned it several with and without a few sheets of blank paper on top of it for clarity. any ideas what I might be able to try?

Try running TC 50-12 and 50-10; it might be way out of adjustment, and 50-28 can't read it properly.

just an update ive been slowly adjusting the 50-12 settings for OC from 50 to 90 with no success. but on a total random idea i tried the BK Mag adj in 50-28 and it threw error as well.

Generally dont need to adjust that during runup unless its obviously out of spec. I was going to say what Zootech said, but if the SPF and tray adjustments worked OK, I'm thinking that you might have an issue with the OC sensors, in that it cannot read that the paper is positioned correctly on the glass.
Run sim 41 and check operation of sensors.

The machine (MX-C311 forgot to mention which machine earlier) doesnt show a sim 41, but i went to check sim 1-2 which was Scanner sensor and it showed MHPS which wasn't highlighted when the scanner was in the home position, like it should be. I'm guessing its a bad sensor or dirty one...guess no lotto ticket this week was a new scanner unit to replace a bad one.
