Iam facing a common problem in hercules series machines(mxm850).Actual problem is whenever customer take copies very rarely some very light black dots are appearing.This particular problem is in three of my clients. In all the places consumable items are in good condition.Even this problem comes in test print also.But after very few copies it works smoothly.Find the attachment.kindly suggest me a solution.

Looks like paper dust in the dev. -
I look after alot of Herc's, but never seen that before. The scan sample is too low res to make anything out, but Bonnie might be onto something there with the paper dust.
Does the spotting rub off the page? Does it feel like small dev particles or it it toner correctly fused onto the page? Its not fuser, blade, charge, drum or transfer related by its randomness, so I'm with Bonnie... check the dev.
Make sure the firmware is updated too. There have been fixes including preventing dev adhering to the paper in low humidity environmentsComment

This problem was there for two days.Afterwards customer didn't complaint about that. Customer took approx 40000 copies. I hope everything is alright now.Comment
