          I can not understand what you are now talking about, but try replacing the lift motor for tray 1. If you get the back of the machine off and fill the tray, run 500 copies while you watch the motor. The motor should only be able to turn one way to lift the paper. I had the same problem and saw the motor lift then slip and back off causing jams. Easier to change than clutches.
