    Update: AR 407 password issue

    Hi again:

I've been experimenting, and when I get on the status page by putting the printer's IP address in my browser, I can see the TCP/IP settings are set with the port 10000, not the usual 9100. I can't change it though, since I don't have the password. Should I reset the NVRAM and hope I can then use the default password (sysadmin, admin or null)? Will I brick the machine if I do?

    Thanks again.

    Password

    Try "sharp" or "Sharp".
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No luck. Thanks anyway. Nor does forgot, password, none, or any variation of caps on or off.

First run TC 22-6 for your adjustments, then run TC 67-17 (NVRAM clear). This will set all adjustments to default and clear the password in the NIC's web page. It must have been changed at one time from the default.
The default password for the ARNC3D is lower case sysadm. You will
have to run all tests and adjust as needed.
I can't find my notes on the port number, but 10000 does ring a bell for the older printers.
        Good luck

Thanks, Zootech! That worked great. I still can't get it to print in RAW even when I reset the port to 9100, but it works in LPR anyway.
