mx4501 Jamming due to over heating?

My service rep (who's fabulous) is having an issue resolving the persistent jams occuring on my MX4501. It jams where the toner tends to build up at the fuser(?). So far a new drum unit, fuser and a bunch of other stuff has been installed but the problem persists. I think it has something to do with how hot the unit gets and the little rubber things melt and cause the paper to jam. My tech's next option is to recalibrate the sensors.

Has anyone come accross a similar situation? The jam codes remain the same POD2_N and SPPD1_S

POD2 jams are at the fuser & delivery unit. SPPD1 jams are in the doc feeder. Two completely different problems.

There are multiple service bulletins, tech tips, firmware upgrades & part modifications to prevent the POD1 & POD2 jam codes. Is your tech (who's fabulous..... but we all are too...) a Sharp tech? Does he have access to the bulletins & latest firmware? I need to know firmware versions, if the new reverse PG & pawls modifications have been fitted, if the machine has either finisher option installed and if so... have the mods been done to the RBX1 drawer or punch unit entry mylar. The delivery unit (where POD1 & POD2 sensors are) has had multiple part modifications & moulding changes as well. Do you run alot of Heavy paper through this machine? Is it in a hot/humid room? Are you using genuine Sharp toners? Are the delivery unit fan filters clean, allowing air flow? Is the Heavy paper temp/plain paper speed sim setup correctly? Is the POD1 & POD2 sensor arms returning freely, without any hesitation?
There is no such thing as 'recalibrating the sensors' associated with this problem. Let me know the serial number of your machine so I can tell which mods have been done in the factory and what needs to be done in the field.

The SPPD1_S jams are usually caused by worn doc feeder rollers, especially the separation roller (which has also been upgraded). There are a few bulletins on this, as well as the modified tension spring for the sep roller too.

A copy of the sim 22-06 & 23-02 internal prints attached here will help as well.
