    If the sub code is '10', then it is a LSU polygonal motor problem. You could get by with just the motor replacement, but to access and replace the LSU (it's a PITA), it would be advisable to replace the whole unit.

      Agreed. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        If you ignore Sharp's LSU removal instructions, you can change the polygon motor in these fairly easily without pulling the LSU. This is assuming there is no job separator tray installed. The biggest problem with pulling the LSU is getting the back screws out since they are blocked by the circuit boards. If you remove the op panel and front panel, you can slide the delivery tray out the front. The LSU cover has 2 security torx screws in it that require a hollow tip torx bit. Once the cover is off of the LSU or even just raised enough to get a short phillips in there, you can replace the polygon motor.

        After having repaired many L6-10 codes by replacing only the polygon motor, I just had one that required the entire LSU to fix it.
