    MX-M2700N

Sharp MX-M2700N.bmpHave a color registration problem. When printing or duing internal prints the magenta is fine at the front of machine, but off at the rear of the machine(see attached docs, and yes i know it needs developer and a belt). Sharp says do a full calibration and then call them back. Just hoping someone would know the exact sim to correct my issue or the part that is broken. I ran sim 61-4 (lsu unit skew adjust) but that did not help. also, ran 50-22 drum phase adjust and got a sub magenta rear 36 error. Which just confirms that the magenta is off. Change drum also, but did not help.
What sim makes lsu parrallel to the drum?

If 50-22 failed check the gear on the primary transfer belt. They crack on the inside and jitter the belt causing reg issues.
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

I have had similar issues, esp. with the magenta. I found that if I go back and repeat adjustment 6 (61-4) I can bring it around, it can be very tricky. When I do this adjustment I follow bulletin MFP-SB-083 color callibration each time, using the set up/install procedure has given me the best results. I perform the image density adjustments each time, and always make sure I do the black skew before the colors. The more of these that I have done, the better I have gotten. More than once Sharp Tech Support has told me to keep trying.

I found the problem. The automatic adjust of image registration ( 50-22) just wouldn't work. So I had to manually run and adjust image registration (50-20) Once complete the colors were in total sync. Thanks for the help. Happy New Year!!!!
