what is the program that adjust the toner level on photo & textphoto

    hi
I have sharp ar-336 & I want to adjust the level of toner on photocopied paper .. I used the program c - pause- p - pause 46 to increase the toner.. but someone told me that this program may damage the scanner lamp .. is there another program that do that ??
and I want a list of codes of the menu c - pause- p - pause and the job of each program
    thanks

I'd suggest you restore simulation 46-01 and 46-02 to the default, then check the toner density. The developer is intended to last 100K copies. As the machine nears that mark it will start to overtone, and all the adjustments that you can think of will not correct that.

My suggestion?: Change the developer. If the image quality still needs adjusting use Gamma: simulation 46-18. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      thanks for your fast reply
but I don't understand .. is the developer is a hardware unit installed in the machine? and how can I test it ?and where is it installed in the machine ?
I notice that after 500 number of copies in example the toner decay after that gradually till the out paper become unreadable ..

if I used simulation 25-2 that used to initialize the toner density when replacing developer that may end the problem ??

Developer is the chemical in the developing unit. The toner density of the developer starts to vary considerably over time, typically becoming overtoned. The only time you want to run 25-02 is during the initial installation to set a reference value. If you run 25-02 after copies have been run, the resulting reference value could be almost anything.

This is a very basic concept. If you do not understand what developer is, you really need to have a tech come to service your machine. =^..^=
