    [Misc] Memory refresh

I have a customer who wants the READ END feature to be disabled whenever she scans/copy from glass,
Someone out there will remember how to disable this feature on MX2700 and MXM450. Thanks

The read end message cannot be disabled as far as I know, but I will do some research.

Its actually there for a purpose, because when you're copying/scanning off the glass, how else would the machine know that this is the last page of the job unless you press read end. Copy/scan from glass could be a 1 page job or 100 page job, the machine doesnt know that, so you need to press read end when you've finished.
When using the ADF, it knows the last page has passed through as the sensor detects the last page. This automatically ends the copy/scan job.

I will check this, but I dont think it can be done. It would be silly if it could be done in my opinion.

    ............ loooooking...............

Your explanation makes sense but one tech here said he succeeded in disabling it before; he can't remember how he went about it. Please check, am also curious to know. Thanks

Maybe able to " sort " it out

        Hi

I am not completely sure, but as i remember, if you change the default selection of sorting
to group, then it maybe works from the glassplate.

OHJ is right...if sort is set to default, you will have the read end message when copying from the glass.

I dont know about the scan though.
