    AR 550 light copies

We've got a customer with an AR 550 that when scanned the copies are coming out light. But prints are coming out fine.

Adjust the exposure in TC 46-2; also check to see if it is in toner save mode.

Don't forget to check the user modes first. I remember a Dragon at a printers shop. The quality kept going too dark on one call, too light the next, driving me crazy. Finally I checked the user mode and found toner save On and exposures adjusted all the way dark (?). I don't think the user had a clear idea what he was doing. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Have you set SIM 46-19 to mode 1 instead of mode2? Try that it'll make all the difference in the world.
