ARM-455 and AR-507 IBM Websphere compatibility

Currently we have a customer that has a custom application developed on the IBM Websphere Application Server, the OS that host's Websphere its Windows 2003 and Oracle as its database.

Are there any special drivers or conectors (like OSA) for Websphere. The app sends the document directly to the MFP's without passing on the terminals. Currently HP printers work, just by pointing their IP address in a config table from the app.

Port 9100 RAW has alredy been tested with out any luck (this is the default for the JetDirect servers).

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks.
Ps.: sorry to make this my first post, and hopefully not my last one.

You can try port 10001, this is the old default for Sharp print drivers in the RAW format. Most of the new drivers setup with lpr and queue name lp. Not sure if this is going to help but I would try the 10001 port first. Have had that save me a couple of times.

    Good luck.

Have you done a data capture? What print emulation is being output from the application?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Sorry for the late response.

Yes I made a data capture, and that's when I found out, the app wasn't sending nothing when it was requested to print.

So far we haven't hear from the developer about the fix. There is nothing more we can do at the moment.

Also they have some network issues with latency, one server its behind a VPN and has some lag.

        Thanks for the suggestions.
