First off, I have a question.
How long will a machine "Warm Up" Before throwing a code in this line? I know that 300 seconds is the spec but I have never found the lengths of time before H codes start coming. It would be helpful to know that information if anyone has it.
On to the issue:
MX-6201, original fuser (obviously rebuilt a couple times), takes upwards of 10 minutes to warm up in the morning. Replacement fuser only takes about 4 minutes to warm up. All sensors from the Maintenance kits have been replaced several times already. Started swapping lamps and checking thermistors everything appears to be in good order but the fuser can still take upwards of 11 minutes on the outside to warm up.
Any suggestions? Yes I know we can just replace the whole thing but I would like to know what is causing the issue for future reference. If we can fix it with a sensor or lamp I would rather do that than replace a whole unit.
From the fact we can put in a new fuser and the time reduces I am assuming this is not related to procon, however I have not changed 44-28A if anyone thinks I should let me know.
Thanks!
