    Reverse Print Order

Is there anyway to make a mx-4101n print in reverse page order when printing from a pc? We are trying to get a booklet printed properly from publisher. Everything seem to print correctly except the booklet is inside out. (In other words, once it is output, i have to fold it the opposite way it is folded and then it is perfect, except the staple is now on the wrong side. Please help!

    thanks!

Is this when printing multiple sets or just just one set?

If it is when printing multiple sets, then make sure that the collate option within Publisher is turned off as this can cause some funny issues.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

It happened when we were just trying to run a single proof. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the MX-4101n's, but I am familiar with Publisher and its problems.

Is your machine PostScript capable? Try using this driver if aren't already as Publisher is a PS based application and not PCL.

Does the machine also do similar things when printing from Word or other applications? Is it happening from one computer or all computers?

This problem is on multiple machines and happens in Word as well. We have found one workaround which is to save as pdf and then print from acrobat using the reverse print order there. It would be nice if we could get the printer to do this . . . or old Panasonic had a print driver setting to reverse print order. I'll double check with the PS driver, but from what I remember the PS driver options are more limited.

The PS functionality is more limited and does not allow for reverse order printing or allow us to use the saddle stitcher the way we need. I also tried the PPD driver . . . it actually does have a reverse print order function, but it will not allow you to use legal size paper with the saddle stitcher and it will not allow us to use user codes which are important to keep our machine locked down. Does anyone have ideas?
