I have MXM503N which I noted that the firmware was very old (01.02.j3) hence decided to upgrade. Having put the u02.04.j3 version it came up with U2-50 code. I came home to realised that I loaded the U model firmware instead of the N model.
This error had happened to someone before having checked the old postings. According to the posting, he uploaded the N model firmware and then cleared code with Sim16 and MFD was recovered.
My question is that does anyone knows whether the upgrade should be done as emergency firmware upgrade or by the normal method.
NB: The zip file indicates N model but the content is for U model. Read the main description for firmware instead of the zip file.
