[CQ] MX-7000 with washed out color...problems doing ACC

Just did a color maintenance on machine due to washed out color. It is slightly better, but still not what it should be. I have not been able to do a ACC because it does not recognize the 11x17 paper in the machine. I have tried it through simulation and also through Admin, but both ways say to load 11x17 into the tray, Any help would be appreciated.

After you did the color PM did you perform 25-2, 44-2,44-6,44-26 ?

Trays 3 and 4 should auto detect 11x17. Try putting the paper in a differnt tray or the bypass. Ive seen the black and white product refuse to use tray 3&4 for ACC

This must be a 7001 as the 7000 is B/W. If you did a developer change, be sure to run SIM 44-27 to clear half tone target before running SIM 44-26. Also, be sure to rum SIM 50-22 if the drums have been replaced.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Yes, I did all those sims. I tried tray 3 and 4, but not the bypass. Will try that next.

Yep, I hit those sims...MX-7000 is a color box.

I have had a similar situation before on MX4500.
You need to update the firmware to the latest version then you could get the calibration done.

Have you tried to do the tray size adjustment? Also I assume you are using the recommended 28lb 96 bright hammermill color paper for your test print/copy and calibration? Paper makes a huge difference on the color dragons. Just had a 6201 yesterday with terrible copy/print quality caused entirely by the paper they were using.
