Hello all
I have a weird one for you wizards out there. I have an MX-5001N that when you touch anything on the screen or buttons on the copier display panel, it takes awhile (approx. 30 sec)for the copier to deicide to do it. For instantace you are in copy mode and push image send, could go right to it or it could wait the 30 sec to go to it. Same thing if you try to push in number of copies. I have it traced down to the ethernet plug to the MFP. When you unplug the cable all works fine, no hesitation at all, was even able to get into sims. Plug the network cable back in and the display slows down again. Just to throw another wrench into it, I can not get on to the web page of the copier. It might go to the front page, or may not, but even when it will, when you go to click on anything within the webpage it times out and can't get to it.
I have reset the NIC and updated the firmware. I think my next guess will be the MFP board? Unless anyone else has experienced this and can help me out on this one. Thanks!! and happy fixing!
