[Misc] AR-M450 Stops working while coping and re-boots. Sometimes will have to turn off

This copier will stop coping and re-boot other times it re-boots on it's own.
Have checked voltage and things look normal. I'm beginning to think it is a memory problem. Trouble is I have no idea which memory it could be.

I have had AR-336 copiers to do similar things and it was the DC power supply.

Any suggestion on which memory modual to try or what could do this.

Thank you for the reply. This model doen't have a harddrive and I have checked the PS unit for the spring. So far noone has an answer or have seen the problem. Once again, I do think you for the help.

Hi, if the copier is connected to a network try to unplug the networkcable. If the machine stops rebooting then the problem is that somewhere in the network there is a non sharp postscript driver that trying to send at printout to the machines ip-adress and the machine can not decrypt the print information and thats why it starts rebooting.

I've seen a few of these power supplies fail, and yes, they will shut down, then come back on all by themselves after a while. For me, I'd go with the power supply. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I've encountered with the same machine it only reboot, I reprogram the eeprom. Perhapse if this doesn't work try the power supply...
