    MX2700 jam APPD1

    hello,

i have a mx2700 working fine exept duplex printing and copying. every paper is stacked in the duplex unit and give me a APDD1 jam. we changed the whole door unit the fixing unit , the paper exit tray and no changes. the duplex motor is moving, the sensors are changed.
any suggestions what to do next.
i plan to change the PCU PWB, maybe is something wrong with the control of the machine.

Is the paper getting far into the duplex unit/door, there are two technical bulletins relating too the door but as you have changed it, it cant be them. Check that the spring that pulls the duplex gears towards the door is still there, I mean the gears directly connected to the motor which connect with the door when its closed

Is this an N or S jam? Just wondering? Also how many copies on this unit? Since you have changed the door if it is an N jam then I would look at the turnover assembly. Really easy to get out on these newer models.

        Good luck.

Hello, smrekca is on vacation. So I got the job. The problem is APPD1_N caves, we have changed the PCU PWB Controls the engine section (2x), but did not help. What part did you think to replace probamo? Has already been replaced entire paper path. Thank you for your help.

Have you fitted the modified right hand door fixing plate when you fitted the replacement door, its possible a spring has become dislodged which can lead to no pressure between rollers to pull the paper through

Do you have a finisher on the machine? If so the duplex gate in the entrance can be getting stuck and the paper can be getting caught on the wrong side of it so it will never finish it's reversal. Check the little black sound dampening pads to see if they are stick and remove them. This will cause a small click when the gate moves but will keep it from sticking.
