    May we know what model of this copier would be? What version of sharpdesk would this be?
    Anyway, have you try log in the copier and look at the addresses? Maybe the profile is already there?

      Hi Dingo
      make sure firewall is off,then antivirus is off.
      one more thing to try go to:
      1-internet explorer options
      2-connections
      3- under lan settings set it to auto detect

        Or confirm with a laptop running the NST and X-over cable to eliminate network issues. It is best to clear out any existing profiles on the machine through the web interface.

          thanks friends.
          've checked everything.
          The instalation is in a office, and there are more pcs, that works good, and are three copiers, 450;451 and mx 2300. all in the same network.
          -i m using the latest sharpdesk version.
          -now i m think in one thing, there are a sharpdesk windows xp version?

            There is a WIN 7 version that is backwards compatible - 3.3v1.30.

              today I walked around a problem, I could detect, but could not solve.
              -it hapened when i try save the scann profiles, in the windows xp, with the mx-2300, only.

              -for exemple
              -i instal the sharpdesk, update the scaners, ar-m451, and ar-m450, save the profiles ok. everithing work ok.

              -now, if i add a mx-2300 scanner, add ok, but when go save the profiles,the sharpdesk
              crash, give me "unknow" error, and do not work more, every profiles are deleted of every
              copiers, only with a new instal without the mx-2300 of corse, can work again.

              -it hapened in the two pcs tha have a windows xp in the network, with the others pcs with seven and vista, no problem.
              -of corse i already try with every sharpdesk versions.

                Hi friends
                I`m posting here the solution for mi issue.
                The issue was in the pcs that have windows xp sp3 + sharpdesk with scanner tool + more, and this is the problem antivirus eset, or nod 32 v. 4 and five.

                the solution after many, many, time studing the problem, is replace the antivirus aplication.

                May be, is useful for someone.
