Have two machines doing this. Both have the correct firmware. One machine got a new ccd.

Oh sorry both are ARM-205. both using USB scan.

Confirm Copy Lamp is lit
Clean lamp reflector & all mirrors
Confirm lamp reflector is in place & correctly positioned
Ensure mirror base is totally parallel with mirror B
Check CCD skew
Last resort - Adjust CCD height by half turn maximum

Hi

If the E7-11 only occurs when you do colour scans from the document feeder then there are two thing you can try.

1) When you take out the slit glass there is a white reference at the rear of copier can sure it is white, if you can not replace it, paint on the glass with a tipex pen (not bottle of tipex must be pen) where the reference is. IMAG0135.jpg

2) Replace the copy lamp, if the lamp is on and there is a grey piece at the ends then is must be replaced. With new lamp the light goes all the way to the edge of the lamp.

Only one machine had the current firmware but reflashing both seemed to work. We'll see.
