mxm 450 E7-90 code

any fixes for the E7-90 code on a mxm450. book don't help or I can't read it properly . this code has popped up a few times and popo reset it but there must be a cause
any help appreciated

I would just start resetting connectors between the PCU PWB and the MFP PWB. Is the firmware up to date?

The manual also says about broken pins on the PCU PWB, Might be tedious but it's worth finding the problem before you just start slapping in boards, unless you have a parts machine to try out boards from.

After that I might consider using a sledge hammer......not that I h ave done that...just a suggestion.

This is a known issue for this model. Replace the PCU flash ROM or rewrite to a known good ROM.
