    Sharp AR-M257 Showing 11 x 17

    Got a Sharp AR-M257 that when I lift the Doc Feed and it reads the Original as 11 x 17 on the platten when there is nothing on the platten.

    Updated Firm - same.

    Went into System Settings and put everything back to Factory - same issue.

    When I turn off and turn back on the system, everything is fine until I open the Doc Feed.

    Any suggestions?

          Try cleaning the platen glass. The auto size sensors are picking up dirty glass or are not functioning properly. The sensor name is DSIN.
          Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

              Issue for those that are interested - went to SIMMS 41-2 - Re-Calibrated Platen. Make sure you use 11 x 17 Paper when going through calibration & more than two-sheets if possible.
