E6-11 error on Sharp MX-3501n -DIAGNOSED

Just in case anyone gets this code, we went through a bit of trouble to get it resolved; turned out to be the DSPF controller board (aka SCU PWB?). Lamp was turning on, but no data was logged in Sim 63-1 for DSPF values. Lamp would only flash once (long). Normal operation will have a short flash AFTER the initial long flash.
Its much easier to try the board first without disassembly of the DSPF to check the CCD/lamp/wiring/etc.

E6-11 =Trouble content CCD white scan level abnormality when the copy
lamp is on. (MX-3501N/4501N) DSPF

I had the same issue on a mx5500 and was the fault and was the scu board as well !!

Is this the board that is on the back of the copier where the ADF harness is connected to. Thank you

the board is actually in the document feeder itself.
