    ar m550 exposure

When customer is copying 2 sided the second side is showing background. Is that a exposure or transfer issue. . Which sim is used for adjusting second side exposure. Thanks for feedback.

The last time I came across this the symptoms were exactly the same as yours:
Background on the backside of duplex copies, only when using the RSPF. Exposures have been adjusted in User Modes. Go to Custom Settings > Key Op Programs > 00000 > Copy Settings > Exposure Settings > set to "5".

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

try going into test command and SIM 50 to adjust the exposure. the problem sound like there is light entering the ccd and that's why your getting the background. have you try adjusting the adf and make sure is sitting on correctly. hope that helps!!

Thanks for feed back, When i went back to customers office i was shown other docs. they had printed that reminded me of a bad laser or charge assembly, jagged print. I did the charge first no change when i did the transfer belt assembly copies came out clean front and back . Transfer unit only had 20,000 pages on it. Again thanks for replys.
