That has been check....My tech thinks the seperation pad may not be the right size and or thickness. FYI the pad is OEM.
There is a tech bulletin for the spring in the cassette tray but that is for the ARM207 series machines. The trays are similar but I haven't come across a problem with them in the 277 series. What is the jam code?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Do you know for sure that the paper feed roller is turning? The paper pickup roller can turn but the feed roller doesn't if there are feed clutch problems. There's a one way clutch involved with that feed roller. If the paper gets picked up but has no where to go, it would slam the paper into the sep pad. With the cassette full, the angle of the paper in relationship to the feed roller/sep pad would change, maybe even give better grip to the pickup tire.

The ARM 207 has a problem with the feed clutch waring a tiny burr or lip into the clutch arbor.
As the clutch solenoid triggers the burr holds onto the actuator long enough to stop the feed cycle.
NB.
Take out the paper tray and have a look at the final stop position of the semi circle feed rollers.
You will notice that the feed tyres are not at the horizontal position and are half way through a cycle.
Solution::
File the tiny burr off the feed clutch arbor with a file.
