I just came across an office where a competitor is installing a "New" AR-M237. Does anyone know where one might get a new 5-year-old machine? I think someone is fibbing, maybe setting back meters too. What do you think?

Well, it might have sat in someone's warehouse that long."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

Those were a good machine. Just a little work horse. Make sure it has a new style fuser drive gear or it will be making funny noises around 70k. They are cheap and easy to change.Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.Comment

They were good but the AR-M257 and AR-M317 were much improved and are great machines, too bad you have to add all the connectivity options to them for big $. Not sure how good the replacements were for them, I know they took away the offset shifter...havn't sold any.Comment

Yep, I checked with Nuworld and they recently sold out. But still, a 5 year old machine? Lucky for the customer the M257 followed, so it will be supported through their lease most likely. I hate it when there are no driver updates for legacy products. Of course, it's up to the dealer to make sure it has the updates.
Speaking of connectivity, this was fully loaded with network print, scan, and fax, for about $3500 retail. Was Nuworld giving that away as well?Comment
