When I install the right side door it pushes the duplex sensor actuator under the cover causing misfeed status when machine is turned on. Actuator appears to be properly installed w/spring and seems fine when I manually test out of machine. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Re: Ar-M237 duplex sensor actuator problem
I sounds as if you've checked the sensor in service mode. If you're sure about that conclusion, consider replacing the inverter assy. It's very common for the plastic guides to warp pretty severely, and crack.
Are you sure about the sensor, because I've got lots of database entries about duplex jamming? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Ar-M237 duplex sensor actuator problem
I meant I physically checked by pushing the actuator down as the paper would and watching it spring back up into position. When I place the side door unit into machine the bottom of the side door must be coming in contact with actuator and pushing it down when normally it should slide over itwithout disturbing it. The misfeed light flashes when machine is turned on because the side door unit has pushed forced the actuator under the bypass unit cover into jam position. I am thinking something wrong with bottom of side door. I disconnected bypass connectors until I figure it out. FrankComment

Re: Ar-M237 duplex sensor actuator problem
Check the tech bulletens, there is a upgrade on that bypass cover in there, it could be warped or just worn to a point, its that cover that holds the side door closed as well.
Also check that delivery frame, I have changed out more then I can keep track of, they warp and crack with the heat.Comment
