Re: Arm 350 with Imagistics print controller?
I installed PS, pcl5 & pcl6 so I don't think it is a emulation thing.
I will try another print controller, but concerned about the licencing for the machine.
I will try port 10001 in raw setting, but if it has a HDD it should print in LPR mode.
Thanks for the input guys.

Try RAW port 10001, had to do this with windows 7 on an AR201. It's the old Cougar series default port but I think it will work for this series as well since it came out right at the end of the Cougar line!
Good luck.

Re: Arm 350 with Imagistics print controller?
Could it be emulation?
I did this just the other day. I installed print drivers to a box that comes standard with PCL. The PostScript option was not purchased. The customer asked for a PostScript driver, and like an idiot I installed it.
So when I sent a print job it cleared the queue quickly. It reached the printer. The printer could not print a PostScript job and tossed it out.

Arm 350 with Imagistics print controller?
All symptoms are both laptop and network. XP 32 bit and Win7 64 bit.
Latest and greatest drivers, and older drivers a friend had on an old HDD as backup.
Print to the raw queue port 9100, just hangs.
Print to LPR with PRINT, PORT1 and lp as print queues spools for a second and just vanishes.
Job log shows nothing in the printer log.
Job accounting is turned off and even set up a basic one to print. Spools then vanishes
Web interface has Imagistics logo and sharp default logins don't work.
Can't be firmware because fresh from factory I should at least be able to print a windows test page in PCL.
Installed and reformatted HDD.
I am starting to think Sharp Box and Imagistics controller are not compatible, or the license is invalid.
Too old a box to waste time with, but now I just want to figure it out because I refuse to let a stupid machine kick my a$$ and I won't give up on the weird stuff.
I am just funny that way.
Any input welcome.Tags: None
