mx-m350 constant restart and turning off

hey guys, this machine stays on about 20 seconds then shuts off, lcd goes black then turns on again for another 20 seconds or so, then off again. soon or later it goes into ready mode, but OFF again. i can get 1 copy out if i'm fast enough to push the print sw right after it is "READY" this will continue forever until the main sw is turned off. when i disconnected the data cable the copier works fine w/o any problems. i've also checked with another data cable but prob is still there. only 100k on the meter. any help would be greatly appreciated

Print job on the network is doing this. Find from which computer the job is coming from then delete the job in the print queue.

I also believe there was a ROM update that fixed this issue?

I agree, latest firmware should fix this.

thanks guys for quick reply! my supplier was telling me it could be the NIC or how it's seated on the connector but i already reinserted it. they also mentioned there is a post (are posts) that can be removed with 2 screws where NIC is connected. i don't recall seeing any post(s)

i called the customer and told them to delete all the print jobs. thanks!

If that doesn't help you, I'd take a look at the power supply. I had a Tiger with similar intermittent symptoms. I re-soldered a bunch of cold solder joint on the PS. =^..^=
