I've had this machine with a sticky ADU entry sensor lever. This misfeeds had become intolerable last night so I took the unit off to see if I could fix the lever pivot. When I saw that getting to the lever was going to be a lot of disassembly I decided to just grab the ADU off my M450 machine that I have been robbing parts from. After pluging it in the display showed 'misfeed' and two of the paper path sensors show they are stuck 'on' when I do SIM 9-2.
The unit worked fine before, so I thought maybe you can't just swap them.
I decided to just fix the original unit with the sticky sensor.
When I reinstalled the repaired ADU I get the same sensors stuck in this unit also! The door switch and the lower paper turn sensor work fine.
I don't see any bent pins on the connector. I'm going to look harder today, but any tips would be greatly appreciated.
