The address book for the 3610N had a bunch of contacts, so I used data backup/ device cloning for exporting the address book, in order to import it to a 7001N the client just bought..
I did all of this from the web interfaces of the machines ( http://{device IP address}) the device admin passwords were kept default..
BUT..
I ticked " User Registration" thinking that this was for the frequently used index as I exported the settings from the 3610N... I logged into the 7001N web interface and imported the data..
After a reboot of the 7001N, I closed the browser, and attempted to log back in to the 7001N web interface to verify the import was successful, but to my horror the default password isnt working and I cant log back in...
Im thinking the password for one was "admin" and the other was "Sharp" and I've already tried "adminadmin"...
I hope that I didnt mess up the 7001N by importing an admin account with different password but same user level and account name, you follow?? ( when I ticked User Registration during export)
Im hoping theres a maintenance mode to fix this without screwing up any installed options that are already activated..( Data Security Kit)
Im posting this in hopes that a guy out there has made this rookie mistake and can offer some help, Im just a whipper-snapper out there trying to feed his family..
Thanks.
