Recently I've come in contact with a MX-M623N, which I'm not as familiar with as other sharps. First of all the Machine had a FK3 maintenance code - which is to change the web rollers. (We just got this machine on contract from another company)
I went to the site and began installing the maintenance kit that consisted of upper and lower web rollers. As I was doing so I noticed the webs were nearly brand new, there was an obvious stop and start thing happening creating a build up of crusty toner a few inches between each other. I continued to unravel the web roller and noticed at one point it was working properly. I then assumed he put it in wrong or something, and installed the web roller kit. Once I was finished I cleared the maintenance code and tried to test it. The code wouldn't clear even after a few tries.
So basically the same thing is happening.
There is a motor that drives the lower web roller, does this constitute a bad motor? not sure what to think.
