AR 337 LOGO ans STARS back again

about 3 weeks ago I had posted this problem of a AR 337 on the Lcd when turning on the copier the logo would come up and then freeze w/o a warm up, nothing. It was at first intermittent then constant. I replaced the HD and the boot rom and I was a very happy man again, well you guess it now I am not so happy, It's back. HELP. Possible DC power supply?

No. I don't know why the hard drive died again, but its probably your new hard drive.

Do you have a surge suppressor on the machine? Hook up the power quality analyzer to see if you are getting some nasty power spikes.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      ar337 lodo and stars

This copier is on a dedicated line with a constant 122 V. and on a surge protecter. This is one of those nightmares, you know, you have 3 to 4 weeks of great calls then you have 2 weeks of nightmares, well thats where I am. anything is greatly welcomed

Try disconnecting the adf. I would have this and it turned out to be the adf unit. Once I unplugged it the machine would fire up. All I did after I found this was clean the sensors and machine worked again.

        Hell its a Sharp
