ARM550N error code F3-22

    [Error Code] ARM550N error code F3-22

    Hello Everyone, I have this ARM550N that error F3-22 comes out. Once I clear the error with sim 15 than its work for a while than after that the error come back. I have tried change the Main Board Pcb from known working machine but the the machine make my good pcb demaged.

    What actually the problem with the machine. the F3-22 means the 2nd paper tray doesn't lift up. I have tested the 2n tray motor put it at 3rd tray and it works.

      Check to see if the shaft is tweaked a little bit. This series had a lot of problems with the lift motor shaft twisitng out of shape. You can fix the problem for awhile but then it will come back. Coupling gear will look just fine and work but then it will start sticking and cause this code.

          Thanks bilyahn for reply,
          However I tried take out the lift motor it self also not turning when I push in the paper tray. Now I am waiting for new order of the PCU Pwb . I suspect the 1st tray lift motor is spoilt and make the PCU Pwb problem.

              the motor wont turn when the code is on, did u try clearing the code first then see if the moto is turning?

                  Hi Silvertoast, I already get rid of it, the problem is the lift up motor and it cause the DC PCB also been burnt. I replace bothe of them and its run now.

                      I am with Bilyahn on this one. Even if you do not think it is the problem, try swapping tray 1 and tray 2 motors, you can see if it stays with the tray or follows the motor.
