    Sharp Ar-M355

Hi, I've written in before ... I'm having an issue with jamming in the Delivery / Reversal unit just above the fuser. The Machine is equipped with the FN-6 finisher and the AR-DU4 ( standard, I believe ), I have removed and cleaned the one way gears, re-lubing with a combo of Marvel mystery oil and a bit of Lubriplate on the shafts ( I've used this for years ) I have a lot of AINPD_N jam codes along with a couple of POD1_S which may be a result of not getting all the jammed paper out the first time ... The inverter gate and the piece it fits into have both been replaced. If the FN-6 is removed it seems to duplex just fine ~~ but what happens when it's installed is that the paper runs into another piece coming out of the fuser - in which case there will be on trying to go back in from the the top of the FN-6, one going back to the inverter, and one coming out of the fuser ~ there will also be one coming in to be fed from the lower feed rollers ( perhaps from the AR_DU4 ?? ) I have cleaned the Inverter or turn over units before and solved this problem ... Any Ideas ??? THANKS !!

I have never tried to remove the finisher, to see if the problem goes away. On issues like the one you are having, I have been able to solve by replacing delivery unit.

Maybe it's just laziness, but I've not dug into those delivery/turnover units either. If they fail I just replace. I've had two brand new ones that wouldn't feed a single sheet. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes that should take care of it. The main cause of this issue is the delivery units pressure rollers ( 4 rollers on metal shafts ) . You more than likely alleviate the problems by replacing them with the updated rollers. But if the powers that be don't mind just replace the whole unit.
